Proud’s Parting Shots
Entitled Keith Morris: Parting Shots, the first ever, full-scale retrospective exhibition of Keith’s work opened at London’s Proud Central Gallery on September 18th 2008 and closed on November 16th that year.
Over 85 photographs were displayed representing the huge variety of his musical portraits, live action and reportage work and some of these were prints Keith himself made before his tragic death. Early photographs of Sandy Denny, Nigh Drake, John Cale, Marc Bolan, Janis Joplin and Germaine Greer rub shoulders with later works including those of the Damned, Elvis Costello & The Attractions, The Damned, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
All the photos displayed at Proud Central are available to view in our Gallery section and limited edition and vintage photographic prints (some actually signed by Keith) are available for sale – framed and unframed – in a variety of sizes. For more details go to www.proud.co.uk or telephone 0207 839 4942.
